Three Prominent People in Educational Technology

All three of these important people in educational technology were named to the eSchool News list of the 30 Most Influential People in Educational Technology for inhibiting leadership and initiating progress in the field of technology in education.

John Bailey is a member of the U.S. Department of Education and is the director of educational technology. John is heavily involved in the No Child Left Behind Act. He also designed the link-to-learn initiative which is a five-year, 200 million dollar project for community based networking for technical investments in education.

Kathleen Fulton is the director of reinventing schools on NCAF which is the National Commission for Teaching and America’s Future. Among her many other achievements and experience in educational technology, Kathleen was the editor for the NEA.

Dr. Yvonne Marie Andres has been named to eSchool’s list for her extensive leadership in the field of educational technology. She was the president and CEO, as well as the co-founder of the Global Schoolnet Foundation. She also created Global Schoolhouse.
